The Villa is ideal for a large family getaway boasting enough space to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests. Living Spaces There’s room for everyone in the bright and breezy open-concept living area with 16’ lofted ceilings, elegant light fixtures, and comfy couches. This is a great spot for morning coffee and relaxing after a busy day at the parks. Main floor has a convenient and private half bathroom. We are a family-owned property and we love making travel memories with our kids. Our goal is to make sure you have what you need to keep young ones entertained while making your lives as parents as easy as possible. The Villa is set up with a variety of board games as well as free high-speed internet and cable TV. Family games night meets family movie night! For the littlest ones, a pack-n-play and high chair are available to use. Besides being a whole lot of fun, we know Florida family vacations can be wet, sandy, and sometimes messy, so a washer and dryer are in the unit if you need it. The washing machine really gets going during the spin cycle, so don't be alarmed if it makes a little noise. Kitchen & Dining We know that many enjoy eating comfortably at home on vacation. The Villa comes equipped with all the amenities of home, including a fully stocked kitchen with many kitchen appliances including a blender to whip up a few power protein smoothies to fuel a day at the parks, or some frozen cocktails in the sunshine. A brewed coffee maker is available (cone shaped filters work best), as is a kettle. Outside the oversized glass sliders is a gas grill with propane provided. Seating for 8 at the dining table and convenient breakfast bar. Bedrooms & Baths Adults will appreciate the two bright and inviting main suites, both with king beds, 43” HDTVs, and private full baths, as well as ample storage for clothes. The first-floor main suite has its own workstation, perfect for freelancers, entrepreneurs and remote workers (the Clubhouse is just steps away and is set up with a printer and office area you can use if you need to take a private meeting). The second-floor main suite enjoys private balcony access, allowing you to wake up and step right into that Florida sunshine with your morning coffee to enjoy views of the surrounding conservation area. The third bedroom has a queen bed and 43” HDTV, and shares a full bath with the fourth bedroom which has two twin beds and a Mickey and Minnie theme; this is the perfect suite for the kids. Outdoor Amenities The Villa has a private balcony on the second floor with stunning views of the protected nature preserve, as well as a covered patio on the ground floor. With no neighbors behind you, this is your private oasis to enjoy a morning coffee, have a mid-day yoga session or wind down at night listening to the sounds of nature. Resort Amenities Emerald Island Resort is a favourite of visitors to the Orlando area. Known for being a little quieter than other resorts in the area, it has no shortage of amenities for guests to enjoy. Starting with the two pristine pools and accompanying hot tubs. The Clubhouse pool has deck games, a fire pit, extensive seating and and indoor/outdoor bar area with full drink service and a decent menu. Clubhouse is also where you'll check in, find the well-stocked gym and sauna, as well as the office/remote work station. The Clubhouse also has a sundry shop which sells many of the essentials you may need during your stay, including candy, snacks and drinks. Beside the Clubhouse is a kid's play structure and the 9-hole mini-putt course. Talk to the front desk to get clubs and balls for the golf. The resort also has two electric car charging stations for shared guest use. Phase 2 is home to the second resort pool and hot tub, as well as another kid's play structure. This is also where you'll find the sports courts, which offer basketball, tennis, pickleball and shuffleboard. Balls, rackets and other equipment are available to borrow at the Clubhouse. Bikes are also available to rent for in-resort use only. Location Emerald Island Resort is centrally located. Highway 192 is just minutes away with endless restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, waterparks, mini-golf (putt putt) and world-class golf courses. Right across the street is a the recently built Margaritaville Resort which has a number of great restaurants, shops and attractions. The closest Walmart is at the 192 and Old Lake Wilson Rd, just a few minute drive away. The nearest Target is also on the 192, a few minutes away in the opposite direction. - Disney World: 10 minutes - Seaworld: 25 minutes - Universal: 30 minutes - Orlando International Airport: 25 minutes - Cocoa Beach: 50 minutes Guest access The Villa is accessible via keyless smart lock. You will receive details before checking in, including an access code that is unique to your stay. The resort has 24-hour security which you will meet at the gate upon entry. Other things to note Please note that no commercial or recreational vehicles, including (but not limited to) tractor trailers, cabs, boats, personal watercrafts, recreational vehicles, trailers of any kind, including (but not limited to) hitch trailers, 5th wheel trailers, and gooseneck trailers, or any vehicle that is hauled on a trailer can be parked on resort property overnight. No pets. No smoking or vaping. No parties or events. **PLEASE NOTE** a $20 one-time resort fee will be charged upon arrival by the resort. This is a one-time fee per vehicle, and provides a gate pass for all gates in the resort. We apologize for this extra expense - it's the resort's rule, not ours. The resort collects garbage every morning from the in-ground receptacles where the walkway meets the sidewalk. All garbage needs to be in 13 galllon bags and placed in the receptacle. The receptacle lid has a locking latch. Please do not leave garbage outside of the receptacle, or overfill the receptacle as it may attract wildlife. If you have extra trash, there is a compactor in Phase 2 by the sports courts.
